Relax on Waiheke Island and then pick up your car in Auckland to drive to Taupo,?drive to Hawkes Bay and fly out from Napier airport at the end of the week.

Day 1 - Waiheke Island, Auckland

Day 2 - Waiheke Island, Auckland

Waiheke Island has many excellent wineries and artists. Book a tour or rent a car, scooter or bike to explore.
Day 3 - Taupo, Central Plateau
Take the ferry and drive to Taupo, stop at one of the thermal parks, Te Puia or Orakei Korako or take a scenic flight with Volcanic Air or Taupo's Float Plane.
Acacia Cliffs Lodge is set high above Lake Taupo. Stunning views and great cuisine.
Day 4 - Taupo, Central Plateau
A full day of fishing on the Tongariro River or Lake Taupo.
Day 5 - Taupo, Central Plateau
Tee off for a round at Wairakei Golf Course, world-class championship course, immersed in the natural beauty of a wildlife sanctuary
Day 6 - Napier, Hawke's Bay
The short drive from Taupo to Napier gives you time to explore this Art Deco city.
Day 7 - Napier, Hawke's Bay
Join a tour of some of New Zealand's finest vineyards and winery cafes.
Day 8 - Napier, Hawke's Bay
Enjoy the stunning views from Cape Kidnappers atop dramatic cliffs with spectacular sea views either from the international golf course or the gannet colony.
Lunch at one of the renown winery restaurants.
Day 9 - Journey's End
Depart from Napier airport and connect to other domestic or international destinations. Alternatively, continue south to Wellington.
