Blenheim & Picton
TOP OF SOUTH ISLAND
Marlborough
Marlborough at the north east top of the South Island combines two very environments; the bush-clad Marlborough Sounds and the dry, world-renowned wine growing region surrounding Blenheim.
Blenheim
The Blenheim area has some of New Zealand’s most famous wineries; including Cloudy Bay, Wither Hills, Seresin, Huia, Herzog and Saint Clair. The dry landscape extends down the magnificent Kaikoura coast to the east and through the more alpine Molesworth Valley high-country.
Picton
Gateway to the Marlborough Sounds. The Sounds offer excellent kayaking, cruising and hiking, especially along the route followed by the Queen Charlotte Track. Hike from comfortable lodge to lodge while your pack follows you on a water taxi.
