To be surrounded by beautiful New Zealand bush in a totally secluded place where you can listen to water falling is soothing to the soul.
For overseas visitors, it’s the perfect place to stop over on your trip to scenic Northland, where you can experience great ‘Kiwi hospitality’ and a glimpse of our New Zealand fauna and flora before you head north.
Warblers Retreat is only 45km from Auckland airport and 25km from Auckland CBD.
Accommodation
Warblers Retreat Lodge offers a Studio Suite and a Cottage as self-catering accommodation. Cook your own breakfast at your leisure as a wide range of breakfast ingredients are supplied to the Studio Suite and the Cottage upon your stay.
The Kereru Studio Suite has its own private entrance, private courtyard and undercover parking. This is sited in a separate wing of the Lodge.
The one bedroom Cottage with kitchen, dining, lounge, viewing and recreational room offers ideal accommodation for for bird watching and romantic weekends away.
The entire Lodge can also be reserved, 3 bedrooms plus Keruru Studio will sleep up to 8 guests. It comes complete with extensive entertainment areas including swimming pool, outdoor fireplace and secluded spa bath in a bush setting.

Directions
Warblers Retreat is located on the northern side of the Auckland Harbour Bridge on Auckland's North Shore.
FROM AUCKLAND AIRPORT:
Head north towards Auckland. Follow State Highway 20 to Queenstown Rd/Urban Route 12 in Hillsborough. Take exit 15 from State Highway 20. Get on State Highway 1 in Epsom from Urban Route 12.
FROM AUCKLAND:
Follow State Highway 1 to Albany. Take exit 412 from State Highway 1. Drive past North Harbour Stadium. Turn left onto Paremoremo Rd. Drive 5km then follow the signs to Warblers Retreat.
FROM NORTHLAND:
Follow State Highway 1 to Albany. Exit motorway turning right onto Oteha Valley Rd (410)/Urban Route 29 (signs for North Harbour Stadium/Albany/Oteha Valley Road). Travel 1.6km turn right onto Oteha Valley Rd extension. Turn right at Albany Village traffic lights. Travel through the Village, over the bridge. Turn left onto Paremoremo Rd. Drive 5km then follow the signs to Warblers Retreat.
